Modern Slavery Statement

The Animo Group Ltd.

Modern slavery is a crime that strips people of their freedom and dignity, whether through forced labour, human trafficking, or exploitation anywhere along a supply chain.

As a lean, UK-based marketing and advertising consultancy, we work with a small, carefully chosen network of people and suppliers. We believe that scale doesn't lessen responsibility, and we take our part in preventing modern slavery seriously, both in how we run our business and in who we choose to work with.

Our Commitment

Animo takes a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to ensuring, as far as we are able, that our suppliers and partners do the same.

Our approach is grounded in three principles:

  • Know our supply chain – understanding who we work with and how they operate
  • Act with integrity – making considered, informed decisions about who we choose to work with
  • Speak up – encouraging anyone connected to Animo to raise concerns, and acting on them

How We Are Acting Today

As a small, senior-led agency, our supply chain is limited and closely managed. We are already taking practical steps:

  • Working with a small, trusted network of freelancers, contractors and suppliers, personally known to our founders
  • Favouring UK-based suppliers and partners wherever practical
  • Applying the same standards of fairness and care to our people and suppliers as we do to our client work
  • Considering modern slavery risk before entering into new supplier relationships

Our Legal Position

We acknowledge our responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are committed to transparency in how we operate and who we work with. We publish this statement as a clear record of that commitment, and will review and strengthen it as our business grows.

Our Next Steps

As Animo grows, we are committed to strengthening our approach by:

  • Formalising due diligence for new and existing suppliers
  • Establishing a clear internal channel for raising concerns
  • Reviewing and updating this statement at least annually
  • Continuing to embed these principles into how we run the business as we scale

In Simple Terms

  • We won't knowingly work with anyone who exploits people.
  • We'll ask questions if something doesn't look right.
  • And we'll keep this statement honest as we grow, not just for show.
